My First Pumpkin Spice Milkshake (ish) :

This specific recipe brings me back to my teen years when I was working at the DQ. They often put out seasonal blizzards, and of course…as the season shifted into fall-out came the pumpkin spice blizzard. It was like a slice of pumpkin pie and whipped cream in cup. Topped with crumbled graham crackers. I was in absolute heaven. After the season was over and everything had now switched to the winters “peppermint” craze, I still found myself recreating this pumpkin spice blizzard every shift I worked from there on out.

It’s been a long long time since I’ve had one of those, but my love for the cool sweet vanilla ice cream plus the warm delightful flavors of pumpkin spice, have had me recreating this delicious treat for my family with healthy handmade ingredients. It’s seriously like leftover pumpkin pie you can drink. YUM!

Why Pumpkin Spice Milkshake?

Pumpkin spice is practically synonymous with autumn. Some dare even call it “pumpkin spice season” these days. Incorporating this delightful spice mix into a milkshake is a brilliant way to elevate a classic treat and infuse it with the essence of the fall season. Plus, it’s a fantastic way to use that freshly harvested pumpkin from your homestead!
