Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Dried Motherwort Leaves
  • 1 cup Boiling Water
  • 1 tsp Raw Honey (optional)
  • slice lemon (optional)

Instructions

  • Steep the Motherwort: Place the dried Motherwort leaves in a teapot or a heatproof container. Pour the hot water over the leaves.
  • Let It Infuse: Cover the container with a lid or a saucer and allow the Motherwort to steep for about 5-7 minutes.
  • Strain and Sweeten (Optional): After steeping, strain the tea into your favorite mug. If you like your tea slightly sweet, add a teaspoon of raw honey and stir until dissolved. A slice of lemon can also add a zesty twist to your tea.
  • Sip and Savor: Find a cozy spot, take a deep breath, and enjoy the calming aroma and taste of your homemade Motherwort tea.

Variations :
Lemon balm is another wonderful nervine herb that can help calm you down. Add a pinch of lemon balm to your motherwort tea infusion.
Red clover, oatstraw, nettles, tulsi, and alfalfa are also very nutrative herbs that can be added to your motherwort tea recipe.
For a really delicious variation, try motherwort, rose buds, and cinnamon, with a nice spoonful of honey, especially in the winter months.
