Best Organic Ice Cream Made Simple (Home Made)

If you're just totally sick of all the additives and artificial ingredients in the grocery stores ice cream, you've got to try this recipe. The BEST organic ice cream can be made so simply at home, so you can enjoy your favorite treats without all the yucky stuff!

Equipment

  • 1 Ice Cream Maker
  • 1 Ice Cream Container

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Heavy Whipping Cream (preferably raw)
  • 1 cup Whole Milk (preferably raw)
  • 3 Egg Yolks (raw)
  • 1/2 cup Maple Syrup
  • 1/8 tsp Sea Salt
  • 2 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  • Prepare your ice cream maker bowl base by placing it in the freezer 24 hours in advance
  • Whisk together all of the ingredients until well mixed 
  • Pour whisked ingredients into your ice cream maker and churn for 30 minutes, or until it is the consistency of your liking
  • Serve or freeze for later in your ice cream containers

Notes

You can use a whole vanilla bean instead of vanilla extract by cutting one vanilla bean in half and scraping out the insides. Add that to your bowl mixture and whisk until well combined.
